Initiated by the estate specialists at Chas Everitt Cape Town South, the Cape Gated Estates initiative is far more than another website.
The initiative for Cape Gated Estates came from Sally Gracie, Managing Director of the Chas Everitt franchise that covers the Peninsula / False Bay, and Southern Suburbs /Constantiaberg areas. “As an established specialist in the popular Stonehurst Estate it was clear to me that buyers for Gated Estates are very specific. Gated estate buyers want a controlled access estate whether it’s a smaller community or a larger lifestyle estate with amenities. While the size of such an estate may vary and suit different family’s needs, the common denominator is the controlled access and security,” said Gracie. “If such a buyer decides they don’t want one gated estate, my experience is they usually end up buying in another gated estate not a house outside of an estate, so a network of estate professionals that are dedicated to sales in such communities makes a great deal of sense to estate sellers and estate buyers. For estate sellers we offer greater access to qualified buyers sourced through multiple niche marketing efforts and for buyers the value to their time in dealing with estate specialists to make comparisons and decisions more thoroughly, quicker and easier is a time saver.”
The website CapeGatedEstates.co.za launched in 2021 with six estates and more will be added in the Peninsula/ False Bay region and the Southern Suburbs / Constantiaberg region before rolling out to all Cape regions in 2023. This a project being managed for Chas Everitt Cape Town South but is managed independently by a marketing agency and it is not intended to be exclusive to any one brand, but to be a professional client centric network of prominent estate specialists.

- a Youtube channel featuring Cape Gated Estate properties for sale
- an estate specific Document Centre (providing a complete overview of design guides, and home owner association conditions etc)
- an estate specific Gallery with professional photography
- a regular Cape Gated Estates workshop, for agents to share ‘best practice’ ideas and to promote networking
