Stonehaven Estate was approved by the Cape Town City Council in 2004 as an eco housing estate after much planning and consultation. It includes a vineyard, olive groves, wetlands, open public spaces, and stormwater retention dams, all designed to work with the natural environment.
Today, the estate consists of 128 homes and has grown into a well-established community surrounded by indigenous flora and fauna. The streets, named after different types of wine, reflect its unique character. Residents enjoy a community library, a five-kilometre walking and running path, and an amphitheatre set in the olive grove, adding to the strong sense of community and lifestyle.
Situated on the mountainside, Stonehaven is conveniently close to both the Atlantic and Indian Ocean coastlines, with several beautiful beaches just minutes away. Two shopping malls, smaller shops, coffee spots, and a wide range of restaurants are also nearby, making this a truly balanced lifestyle estate.
